Please note on your calendars and notify your students and SKA members in your area, Mr. Ohshima leads Spring in the South, 25-27 April 2008, coinciding with the 30th Anniversary of the Chapel Hill Dojo.
In celebration of this event, Mr. Ohshima presented us with his dynamic calligraphy, Hope, which sets the tone as "a beautiful blend of art and spiritualism [that] appears to be coming through dark clouds to illuminate the soul and give lift to the weary spirit...," a copy of which will be given to all registrants among other tokens and brochures of the event. Of course, embroidered T-shirts with Mr. Ohshima's calligraphy will be available to purchase with all proceeds donated to the Shotokan Ohshima Dojo.
