Friday Evening 25 April 2008, Reception at the Sheraton Hotel Chapel Hill: 6:00-8:00 PM
Registration on-site during a wine/appetizer reception, Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel, Venetian room, One Europa Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27517. The registration brochure contains a schedule of events, maps, general information, name tags, coupons for all events, and remembrance gifts for each registrant, including a full-size copy of Mr. Ohshima's calligraphy reprinted on quality paper suitable for framing.
T-Shirts embroidered with Mr. Ohshima's calligraphy, Hope, the theme of the event, will be available for purchase; all proceeds donated to the Shotokan Ohshima Dojo.
Maps will be available at the registration/reception event Friday evening at the Sheraton.
Saturday 26 April 2008, Practices at Card Gym, Towerview Drive, Duke University, West Campus, Durham
- Practice 10 AM to noon led by Mr. Ohshima
- Luncheon 12:30-1:30 PM by Bon Vivant Catering at the Refectory, Duke University
- Practice 2:30-4:30 PM to be led by a guest godan
Saturday Evening, Banquet at the Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel: 6:30-11:00 PM
- Wine reception (6:30-7:00 PM) and formal banquet (7:00-11:00PM), Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel, Venetian Room. Authentic Latin American music by Saludos Compay accompanies the meal for listening and dancing.
